Love of Soothing Music Creates Genre Merge
My love of Twee music had caused an accidental overlap as my love of New Age music merges with it. Both came together in the songs of Sarah Brightman, and Enya, Celtic sirens, sounding very much like the Brit Isobel Campbell of my favorite band, the since disbanded “The Gentle Waves.”
Drinkable, but not super
i have been experimenting with juice cocktails. tonight i mixed v8 w/oj & apple, added grapes, green olives, marchino cherries, a strawberry, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg & ground red pepper. oh and an orange slice. not too good haha. i have had good luck in the past, though, with most these ingredients, just the v8 and vanilla seemed to throw it off.
it may be more fun to instead of sucking...
More on the handheld
It’s a cingular 8525 also known in reality as the HTC Wizard. I don’t recommend it for reasons I’ll elaborate about later, but suffice it to say, I’d get an iPhone or 3 separate units (mp3 player, digital camera, basic phone) and a laptop.
One good thing about it is that the internet feature is kinda cool. More later. Gotta go watch “My Mom’s New...

Check THIS out: The “Love Theme” from Blade Runner by “Free the Spirit” on “Pan Pipe Moods.” OMG…I must be in some kind of surreal, weird dream, but I LOVE it.

I can’t believe I’m addicted to my “New Age” Pandora.com station w/songs like “Coastal Ridge” & “Blade Runner Blues.” Vangelis is a God!

This morning I awoke w/a splitting headache and smothered in fatigue and worry. Life seemed bad. Somehow I managed to drag myself out of bed, made some coffee, toast, took some Advil, and took it out on the front porch. Changed up my music mix AGAIN
I have finally got a pretty good mix of songs on my tiny 1 gig card so when I walk I don’t go all Hulk on myself: A bunch of new “twee” like “Thao with the Get Down, Stay Down,” an energetic Asian girl w/a pretty hot drummer & back up band, plus some Imogen Heap and a bunch of old favorite artists like Maria Carey, Madonna, Maroon 5, but songs you don’t...

Don’t get me wrong, I love my handheld, but it’s just ancient design as it’s heavy and I’ve dropped it many times and when that thing hits the cement, oo, I wince and wince hard. So it doesn’t ring, and it likes to suddenly go into “vibrate mode” cutting off the music even when “locked” and likes to just stop playing music at the end of a song...
